You're all going to laugh at this one. Or cry

I can't believe this is happening to my car! I swear it's cursed. Josh attached the e-brake cable to the back wheel. No problem there. Then he threaded into position to attach it to the console where you pull the e-brake. Problem. The cable is too frickin short!!!!!!! We pulled, cursed, pulled some more, and were still at least 6 inches short of what was needed to fully attach the cursed cable. I swear Josh was about to cry. So, next stops, Lordco to return the cable, again, then to the junk yard to see if we can't find a cable to use. Why me, evil car gods, why me???

Chocolate Hangover

I actually wish I had a chocolate hangover. Didn't eat as much chocolate this weekend as I would on a normal Easter weekend. Oh well. Maybe I can buy a whole crap-load of chocolate now that it's all really cheap!!!

News on the car front: We now have the correct e-brake cable to replace the one that snapped. Yay. Now, we just have to put it on. One of the problems arising is that to get to the original cable, we had to unscrew the bolts holding the heat shield. Unfortunately, most of the bolts just kinda snapped off. They were put on really tightly and were kinda rusty and corroded. Josh's dad gave him his old drill, so we can make some holes. Yay drills!! Can't think of anything to write now. So, yeah. Off to Wills and Estates class. *hop hop* like a bunny. I want a cream egg. NOW! Anyone have any extra?

The people at Toyota must be smoking somethin'

So, apparently when Toyota was making the 2-wheel drive, 4-cylinder Toyota Camry between 1988 and 1991, they didn't think that, just maybe, they should make a replacement for the left e-brake cable. They made a right one, but not a left one. Oh, and with all the Camrys, they thought, hey, let's make some use an American system, and others, use a Japanese system. Guess which one I have, and which one is more expensive. THE AMERICAN ONE!!!!! So, my right cable snapped, just rusted away and snapped, and I'm sure the left one will go soon. I can replace the right one, and if the left one ever goes, well, I'm SOL. On the bright side, I still have a car.

mmmmmm. Mexican Perogies a la Coletters

Try this. Take a bunch of Chedder Cheese perogies and fry them up until they are golden brown. Then, shred a whole lotta chedder cheese on them. Then dollop salsa. Pop the whole thing in the microwave for about a minute and a bit, and TADA! Mexican Perogies a la Coletters. Now, where's my tequilla . . . . . . .

The Soap Opera that is my car

Car bad. Josh mad. The supid car people gave us the wrong friggin e-break cables. The part that is supposed to attach to the drum, guess what, the holes don't fit because the little part isn't long enough. Sigh. 3 hours of work and nothin to show for it except dirty hands and clothes. I wish I was a mechanic. Stupid car. Grrrrrrrrrrrr. I think it's time for bed. Don't trust LORDCO anymore. We should all just learn to teleport. Or live on Star Treck. That would be cool, but only if it were The Next Generation. Hehe. yeah.

Ok, so I figured out how to publish pictures on this thing, kinda. So, for all of you who had to use their imaginations, there's Josh! =) Sigh.

Alright, now that I have that out of the way, time to get back to studying for an Access test I have in, oh, 3 hours. GULP!! But if anyone knows how to publish pictures within a post, please tell me, as I am clueless. Very, very clueless.

 

Planning a wedding/cars are evil

You know what sucks? Having to take your car in to get a minor repair done, the weather decides to PISS with rain, you don't have another car to take you home, and it's Sunday, which means busses everywhere SUCK ASS!

So, who thinks I had a good weekend? Well, I guess it was ok, except for Sunday. Friend took me to the Opera on Saturday for my birthday. Cosi fan Tutte. Funny opera, but the 2nd half does go oh a bit. I think 3 1/2 hours is a little too long for an opera. But it deffinately was a good opera =)

Got my car back. But it's still not 100%. Now, the E-brake cable has snapped. Joy. It's all Josh's fault though, really. He insists on pulling the brake aaaaaalllllll the way back every time. No wonder it snapped.

But all that aside, I'M PLANNING A WEDDING!!! MY WEDDING!!!! yay me! For those who don't know, Josh and I are engaged and are planning for a fall wedding. Wheeeee. I know some of you are going to want to strangle me for not telling them personally, but suck it up, you're finding out now. =) I'd put a picture up of him, but I'm still working out how to get pictures onto this frickin page. That and I'm too lazy to try and figure it out now. So untill then, you'll have to use your imagination.

I don't know if I like this thing. I don't know how to get the page to look like how I want it to look like. Guess I'm not as computer savy as I thought. Making me download a program to put on pictures. Grrrrrrr. Hmmm. Maybe I should be paying attention to my class lecture, rather than playing on the internet. Naaaaaaah. Off to play Tontie. It's fun.
