Gifts are Fun! and so is SIMS 2 University

Spent much of the afternoon yesterday registering for gifts at SEARS! So much fun. They gave us a scanner gun and we just ran around the housewears, electronics and tools scanning anything that we would be happy to get. We know we won't get everything, or even most of it, but can you blame us for trying? Hehe.

I also bought the expansion pack for the SIMS2. In this one they get to go to University and study!!! lol. They've added something called "Influence" which means, if you get enough points, you can tell someone to do something - like write your term paper for example, or clean the house. Plus, one way to get good grades is to suck up and be friends with your teachers. My character really wants to flirt and kiss with his proff!

Anyhoo, off to play!

Where is Tontie?

I'm a little annoyed. I've been trying to play Tontie for like a month now, but the website doesn't seem to be working. I'm going through Tontie withdrawl!!!!!

Oh well, I make up for it by playing SIMS2. My family had twins! I just wanted them to have another baby and BAM, I got twin girls. Totally freaky. Didn't know the game could do that. Crazy-ass. Now I just gotta buy the expansion pack - they get to go to University!!!!!!

The weekend - the good, the bad, the insane

What a crazy, crazy weekend. Saturday was fa-bu-lous! I went and got fitted for my dress, wnet and had lunch while they hemmed the skirt, went back and got to take it home!!!! Well, I'm not keeping it at home, it's at granny's =) Then we went and got the stuff to make the invitations. Wheeeee pretty paper!

Sunday. Sunday was, well, it was crazy. Too crazy to even write about it on here. Crazy and un-fricken believable. Sigh. Just ask me about it and I'll tell ya.

I'm famous!

Ok, well I'm not famous, but I did make it into the local New Westminster paper, the Record. Because I was Valedictorian, I was profiled by the school and they sent out a press release. My picture didn't make it into the paper, but that's ok. At least the spelled my name right! Hehehe. Anyhoo. That's my bit for the day.

This is going to be my wedding dress. Isn't it pretty??? =) So happy. Went to the store today and got measured and stuff. Go for another fitting next week! Wheeeee. So excited. Now, I just have to sort out the invitations and stuff. Sigh. 

Hehe. Happy Graduation to MEE!!! wish I had a cup like this. 

GRADUATED!!!!!

Had my grad ceremony yesterday. Went well actually. Whole thing took less than an hour. 55 minutes to be exact. That's what happens when half the graduates don't show up. Haha. My big speech went great, although only my family laughed at my little jokes. But that's ok. Josh's reasoning was that the rest of the audience what saying to themselves "Who the hell is she and why isn't my child up there saying a speech?" I promise I will post pictures when I get the film developed=)

Dad was happy he flew over just to see my graduation. Yay daddy! And Granny bought me a really nice frame to display my certificate in. Looks professional. Hehehe.

Dang. is it 10:30 already? Gots to get me to bed. Big summer choir concert tomorrow, probably my last ever with this choir (I'm getting too old!!!) and a big weekend ahead. Lots of wedding stuff to do. Yay wedding!!!
